Happy Birthday Nicholas!

Happy Birthday Nicholas!

What a great day it was yesterday! Nicholas turned the big 8! We had a lot of fun here with everyone. I'm so glad Hec's family is here, wouldn't it be great if they decided to come back and live here again!?! The chocolate cake was fab as was the lasagna! Nicholas and Julian are out now learning how to ride his new bike. I'll show that video later. As for now, watch last nights video!

sonya's birthday

Sunday we had a small get together for Sonya's birthday. The kids lit sparklers and rode on the scooters. Carlos came over (finally)! Next it's Henry's birthday then Nicholas!

Thursday, Spring Break

Yesterday we went to the MFA and to the Sculpture Garden. What a beautiful day. Not only was the weather perfect but it was wonderful to surround myself with all the stunning artwork. We all sketched in the galleries of the new exhibit Prendergast in Italy. Click on the link "museum garden" to watch our pics from yesterday.

Hello All, is anyone out there? Hope so, why have none of my brothers left any comments? Animense porfavor ninos! Anyway, here are some great pictures of a wonderful day with Mom and Nicholas at the Butterfly Center. It was the very first time Mom had been there. Nicholas had the wonderful opportunity a having a Blue Morpho butterfly landing on his shoulders (they are known to be very selective when it comes to landing)! Watch the slideshow here:

Saturdays Nicholas and I usually run around town going to museums and thrift shops. Right now there is an exhibit at the Menil that is mildly shocking if your not prepared for it. Nicholas thought it was somewhat interesting. One of the pieces though I felt was way too creepy stay in your head forever kind of thing so I asked him to turn the other way. Anywho, if I have sparked your interest check out the link below.
